Jade Alice Carty is a classically trained singer and actor from South Yorkshire, passionate about telling stories through music. A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, Jade earned her Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours, specialising in Vocal Performance, studying under renowned soprano Sandra Dugdale.
After recently performing as First Soprano and featured soloist in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Europe’s biggest Christmas show, Jade is excited to take her next step in her career, heading to Hong Kong Disneyland as a vocalist.
Jade’s journey in the arts began at a young age with a love for dance, and she has since built a diverse performance career across theatre, opera, and concerts. Her vocal versatility has led to appearances on ITV, BBC Radio, and the O2 Arena stage. Before her studies at RNCM, Jade also worked as an actress at Disneyland Paris.
In 2020, while still in training, Jade made her operatic debut in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen at the RNCM, where she performed four roles as both a solo dancer and chorus member. Since then, she’s gone on to play leading roles, including Serpina (La Serva Padrona) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni), alongside numerous ensemble performances.
While Jade’s roots are in classical music, she has a strong love for musical theatre and classical crossover, and enjoys performing across a variety of genres, including pop, jazz, and gospel.
Jade is always open to new performance opportunities and creative collaborations, and she looks forward to connecting with fellow artists and professionals in the industry.
