Jade Alice Carty is a classically trained soprano & actress from South Yorkshire. After studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, she obtained her Bachelor of Music degree with First Class Honours. She studied with renowned soprano Sandra Dugdale.

From a young age, Jade was drawn to music through her love of dance. She has always been immersed in artistic direction and has never diverged elsewhere. Jade is privileged to have had extensive performance experience in a variety of theatre, opera and concerts in both choir and solo settings. Her versatility has allowed her to perform in various settings including singing for ITV, BBC Radio and the O2 Arena in London. In addition, prior to her studies at the RNCM, Jade was an actress at Disneyland Paris. Her love for classical voice came from being inspired by singers such as Mary Costa and Barbara Bonney.

In 2020, Jade made her operatic debut in Janeck's 'The Cunning Little Vixen' with the RNCM. Through her strengths and extensive training across the arts, she was chosen to perform four roles successfully as both a solo dancer and chorus member. Since then she has performed the roles of Serpina (La Serva Padrona) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) as well as numerous chorus roles as part of RNCM Opera.

Although Jade is initially classically trained, she has experience in a variety of genres and styles including pop, jazz and gospel. However, she has a particular love for musical theatre and classical-crossover.

Jade is passionate about providing a sincere and authentic performance. Click on performance hire to find out more.
